Rena grew up in Northeast Michigan and went on to attend Ferris State University. After graduating in 1998, she moved down to the Grand Rapids area. When asked what she enjoys most about her work, Rena says, “Building long term relationships, encouraging patients through education and believing in individualized care to meet their specific needs. I find it so rewarding to see my patients get healthier.” Dental hygiene is something Rena holds very dear to her heart, and she cannot imagine a better career path. Outside of our dental office, Rena enjoys volunteering at Mel Trotter and Holland Free dental clinics, hiking along Lake Michigan, art, antiques, and fishing!
